Neil Carmichael – Director
Neil is an experienced Sports Facility Development specialist, with over 15 years’ experience in the sport sector from volunteer level all the way through to elite sport. Ten plus years’ experience working at British Cycling (the National Governing Body for Cycling in the UK), home nations Governing Bodies and the UCI (World Cycling Governing Body). Delivering capital investment facility programmes across the UK in partnership with Sport England.
Large scheme development experience including public funding support for the refurbishment of the Manchester Velodrome in 2018 (National Cycling Centre); which included delicate relationship management between contractor, Manchester City council and the Great Britain Cycling Team, Design and Development of British Cycling’s UCI Road Word Championships Legacy ‘Places to Ride’ capital programme, a variety of large multi-sport and community schemes across the UK including examples like the award-winning Leeds Urban Bike Park.
Able to manage large multi-sport schemes with varying levels of complexity, stakeholder management with expert advice and guidance.
